Rolling
Dice - How it Works
|
|

Now
things are heating up !! If you rolled a die along with the previous
test you probably discovered that you have a real advantage if you
can keep track of the outcome and identify anomalies. This happened
because there are a larger number of variables. In the coin toss test
it was difficult to do that, there were only two variables and with
a fair coin it was very unlikely for anomalies to occur, perhaps small
ones that did not create a severe advantage. The higher number of
variables the more likely temporary instability will happen. |

By
now you have a feel and understanding of how probability works. It
is easy for an average human being to keep mental track of a pair
of dice and this is commonly done during backgammon and others. But
at a casino game like roulette there are a much higher number of variables,
this is not surprising since the higher the variables the more the
advantage is tipped to the casino's favour. Someone betting on a roulette
table on luck alone has a very little chance of continuously winning
against the house. Let's see what we can do about that. |
